The G.A.P Adventurer IV is a comfortable air-conditioned 72-foot motor yacht built to accommodate 16 passengers with 8 double occupancy cabins with either a window or a porthole, air conditioning and private bath.

Our clean and comfy yacht is an Original Class boat, staffed with an exceptional crew, including a certified naturalist guide. The 2-level wrap-around deck is ideal for ocean views and relaxing in the sun, and there is both a bar and a dining room where all meals are provided.

Day 1 Arrive Quito
Arrive in Quito at any time.

Day 2 San Cristóbal (L,D)
Transfer early to the airport for our flight to the Galapagos Islands. Upon arrival in San Cristóbal, meet our naturalist guide, who will assist with the transfer to the G.A.P Adventurer IV.

Day 3 North Seymour (B,L,D)
Sail to North Seymour, just north of Baltra, home to sea lions, marine iguanas, swallow-tailed gulls, magnificent frigate birds and blue-footed boobies.

Day 4 Bartolomé/Cerro Dragon (B,L,D)
Arrive at Bartolomé Island early and disembark for a short hike. Our naturalist will interpret the geological history of Bartolomé and explain its dramatic features, including the unusual splatter cones. We may see the rare Galapagos Penguin, of which only 800 pairs exist! In the afternoon visit Cerro Dragon, located on the Northeast Corner of Isla Santa Cruz.

Day 5 Santa Cruz (B,L,D)
The morning finds us in Puerto Ayora, on Santa Cruz Island. Later, visit the Charles Darwin Station to see giant tortoises and learn about Darwin’s studies of the Galapagos wildlife. There is also free time to explore or do some shopping. In the afternoon we visit the highlands to see the giant land tortoises.

Day 6 South Plaza/Santa Fé (B,L,D)
Spend the morning in South Plaza Island. One of the smallest islands in the Galapagos, South Plaza has one of the largest populations of land iguanas. Walk along a path through a cactus forest and view a combination of both arid land and coastal vegetation. In the afternoon, set sail for the island of Santa Fé. Also called Barrington, Santa Fé Island is well-known as a great place for watching (and swimming with) sea lions.

Day 7 Floreana (B,L,D)
Reach Floreana Island in the morning and stop at Post Office Bay. This is a historic site still in use today, and is where mariners would deposit and collect letters from the “post office barrel.” This unique post office is still in use today.

Day 8 Española (B,L,D)
Head to Punta Suarez on Española Island. The southernmost island in the Galapagos is home to several wildlife species, including masked and blue-footed boobies. Sail in the afternoon to Garner Bay, an excellent swimming and snorkeling site.

Day 9 San Cristóbal (B)
We reach San Cristóbal and disembark to visit the Interpretation Centre. Transfer to the airport for our flight to Quito and enjoy one last night in the capital.

Day 10 Depart Quito
